PGS is going underground…

UGCA_logo…that’s right, we’re going to Underground Coffee and Ales! This Saturday, June 4th, we’ll be playing some tunes for your listening pleasure. Music starts at 8pm, but bring the whole family in early for dinner. Great beer selection as well as coffee, teas and wine. Outside seating available as well. 

Don’t forget….Beer, Bourbon and Bacon (June 18th) is fast approaching. Get your tickets early. Payne’s Grey Sky and Professor Louie and the Cromatix have already been confirmed. Other great music will be added as well. Check out some of the great bacon offerings here!  

Happy Birthday, Bob Dylan!

Happy Birthday to Bob Dylan! Join PGS tonight as we celebrate him by performing a tune or two of his at Rosendale Cafe’s Singer Songwriter Tuesday showcase (say that 5 times fast). We’ll also be performing a couple original tunes to fill our 15 minute time slot. Music starts at 8pm. PGS is currently slated to be 5th in the lineup.

What’s Smokin’?

SPBBQ1Payne’s Grey Sky has one remaining show during the month of May. This Saturday, May 21st, we’ll be back at Smokin’ Pony BBQ in Saugerties, NY starting at 8pm. Stop on out for some great BBQ with a side of PGS! Plenty of seats to relax, and lots of room to dance. Hope to see you there!

On tap this week…PGS will be back at Keegan Ales in Kingston on Saturday, May 14th at 9:00pm. Stop out early for some dinner, enjoy some tasty beverages throughout the night and hang with us as we provide 3 hours of musical enjoyment. Our newest song, Dear San Francisco will be making it’s Keegan’s debut. Don’t miss it!!

Welcome back, HAWK!!!

We are happy to announce that Henry “Hawk” Hermann has returned from his “winter hibernation” down south and will be back with the band starting this Thursday (5/5) at Dogwood in Beacon. This show will be the first one in a while that all 5 of us will be performing together with the band. Looking forward to welcoming Henry and his fiddle back to the stage. Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo with us! Music starts around 8:30pm.

Thanks Sloop Brewing!!

Thanks so much to all at Sloop Brewing Co. for a great time yesterday. If you haven’t been there yet, do yourself a favor and go. Kid friendly, bring a blanket, sit outside if it’s nice. Music every Sunday!! Oh…and the beer is fantastic too!! Light fare available…bring your own snacks as well. Not a beer drinker?…there’s cider in the fermenter as we speak.

Next up for PGS…this Thursday we’ll be at Keegan Ales from 7-10pm (most likely 11 or until Jimi breaks a string). Hope to see you there.
